History

The history of CK has been a saga of outstanding success,-of their ability to adapt to the demands of changing situations and of their capacity for innovation to keep them ahead for time.

CK Enterprises started as small fabrication shop, and now has blossomed into a huge capacity organization in the field of fabrication and erection. The emphasis has been growth, growth and more growth because the company is Powered to perform.

CK Enterprises now an established made a modest beginning two decades ago. In 1989 Clifford Gomes and Kumar Walters started out with small unit doing fettling and light fabrication jobs. Adherence to quality and schedule earned the company reputation and also the confidence of its customers. Rising expectations time and again posed challenges and challenges in turn took the working and workmanship to newer heights. The company is already in process of expanding on 25 acres plot near Kasara.

M/s. CLIFFKUMAR ENGINEERING PVT. LTD began its journey in the year 1983 as CK Enterprises which made a modest beginning as a fabrication shop three decades ago. We started out with small unit doing fettling and light fabrication jobs. Adherence to quality and schedule earned the company reputation and also the confidence of its customers. Today we are privileged to have connected to many major clients in the structural industry for past 37 years.

1983

SET UP

Cliffkumar engineering pvt ltd was set up by CLIFFORD GOMES AND KUMAR WALTERS which was known then CK ENTERPRISES. We started doing FETTLING JOBS for MUKUND INDUSTRIES. Slowly looking at the pace of the market and need for innovation we started taking up fabrication job and improving our skills. Looking at the market scenario and need for structures we decided to go for a major set up by starting up our factory in NAVI MUMBAI.

1993

MAJOR BREAK THROUGH

In this year we had established a new factory at Navi Mumbai on a 1 acre plot. This was the year when we changed our name from CK ENTERPRISES to CLIFFKUMAR ENGINEERING PVT LTD. This was a real struggling period as we required real good orders looking at the set up we had established nad our patience paid off as we got a major breakthrough project to carry out construction of INOX CAR PARKING at marine lines. This we had executed for LARSEN & TOUBRO (ECC DIV). It was a very fast track job and due to the commitment & hard work of all our staff and employees this project was a huge success.

1995

FIRST INTERNATIONAL PROJECT

After the first major breakthrough we had executed many projects for various clients namely HCC, GANNON DUNKERLY, PETRON, CHEMAC EQUIPMENTS, MALCOM CONSTRUCTION PVT LTD for D.D SHAH FRAGRANCES etc by carrying out various structural and equipment related jobs. During this we had bagged a International project through L&T for fabrication and assembly of DUCTS and CHUTES for LAFARGE CEMENT, BANGLADESH. It was a very high quality job that had to be executed as per timeline set by the client & was done so with the commitment and hard work of the execution team.

1996 TO 2000

Progress..

As year passed by our confidence in taking up new challenges grew more stronger and we started Piping works cupro nickel, Stainless Steel etc for offshore industry. With years of experience in hand our clients were more confident of executing the jobs from us. we also manufactured a Conical Vessel for edible oil industry for client MONSANTO. We were slowly but steadily growing up and this period was a real testing time for us as we had ventured into a completely new field.

2001 TO 2005

Expansion

With years of experience, new expertise and innovations we started up taking up equipment fabrication and the breakthrough was given by L&T heavy division for manufacturing of CONDENSOR. It was real new challenge for us as it was the first time we were executing this type of job. We successfully completed the job with all the expertise gained during the course of time and confidence shown by client. After this completion of project we got back to back project for executing RAW WATER TOWER which was also offered to us by MAZGAON DOCK LTD. Apart from major fabrication there were lot of orders for fabrication which included EOT crane manufacturing, Load spreader mats etc. By the end of the YEAR 2004 we bagged a project from K RAHEJA CORP PVT LTD for Fabrication and Erection of INORBIT MALL near Vashi Railway station in Navi Mumbai. This project was a great success as we also added up erection activities in our service list.

1996 TO 2020

JOURNEY TILL DATE

Our journey which began in year 1989 with small jobs to major breakthrough & international projects we started executing many projects which increased our client database as we served with the best commitment & quality. Our journey during this period we came across many small projects as per the clients requirements and also many major projects like Terminal2 ramp, Coke oven plant, Cidco Conventional Centre,Additional process unit for clients like, ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, JSSL,MBECL, OIL,SKB, IVRCL etc.
